Ubisoft Halifax

Ubisoft Halifax, formerly known as Longtail Studios is a video game developer started by Gérard Guillemot, one of the co-founders of Ubisoft. Located in Halifax, Nova Scotia- Canada, Longtail Studios has developed video games including ''Rocksmith'' and ''Dance on Broadway''. The studio was acquired by Ubisoft in October 2015.
Longtail Studios' published games include ''MotionSports Adrenaline'' for Xbox 360 Kinect and PlayStation Move, ''Dance on Broadway'' for Wii, and PlayStation 3 Move. ''Sprung'', ''Grey's Anatomy: The Video Game'', ''Imagine: Sweet 16'' and ''Dance on Broadway''. Its mobile games include ''TNA Wrestling'', a professional wrestling video game for iOS. As of June 2012, the company is currently developing "Sports Connection", a Wii U launch title to be published by Ubisoft. The studio later worked on ''Rocksmith 2014''.
Longtail's division in Quebec was acquired by Ubisoft in 2010, and the entire company acquired by it on October 14, 2015. Its focus would be shifted to developing triple-AAA video games for mobile phones. The studio was renamed to Ubisoft Halifax.
